Volleyball Recap: Southern Coffey County Comes Up Short

Southern Coffey County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Central Heights Vikings. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Vikings this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 on Tuesday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-7.

Brooke Marlow paced Southern Coffey County's offense, picking up three kills. Marlow got some help from Cheyenne Dykee and her two assists.

Southern Coffey County's defeat dropped their record down to 1-21. As for Central Heights, their victory bumped their record up to 11-15.

Southern Coffey County has already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Pleasanton on the 4th. As for Central Heights, they will square off against Erie at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
