Football Recap: Chico Panthers vs. Nevada Union Miners
Chico had to start their season on the road on Friday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They fell 21-14 to the Nevada Union Miners. The match was a 7-7 toss-up at halftime, but the Panthers couldn't quite close it out.
Brandon Mccallum had an outrageously good game for Nevada Union as he rushed for 201 yards while picking up 7.2 yards per carry.
Chico will be defending their home-field for the first timethey go up against Antelope at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Nevada Union, they are headed away from home for the first time to face off against Bella Vista at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Bella Vista focused on turnovers this week as team gave up five on Friday.
