Softball Recap: North Sevier Wolves vs. South Sevier Rams
North Sevier and South Sevier squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but North Sevier had to settle for second. They lost 10-0 to the South Sevier Rams. North Sevier was red-hot at the plate headed into the matchup (they scored no less than ten runs in the three contests prior) but South Sevier's pitchers proved too tough.

On South Sevier's side, they got a great performance from Kaitlyn Lynch as she didn't allow a single earned run over five innings pitched. Lynch has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive pitching appearances.
On the hitting side, Caitlin Nielson was incredible, going 3-for-3 with a home run, two stolen bases, and two runs. Another player making a difference was Ashton Miller, who scored a run while going 2-for-2.
North Sevier's loss dropped their record down to 8-16. As for South Sevier, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record this season.
