Softball Recap: Reese Comes Up Short

Reese was the 6-5 winner over Bay City Western when they last played one another on Thursday, but their luck changed this time around. The Rockets fell just short of the Warriors by a score of 11-10 on Thursday.

Ashtyn Frost was cooking despite her team's loss, going 4-for-5 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was Jaidyn VanOchten, who went 2-for-4 with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Reese has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 19-15 record this season. As for Bay City Western, with the win, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 10-16.

Reese has already played their next game, a 10-3 victory against Merrill on the 31st. Bay City Western does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
