Soccer Recap: Eastern Comes Up Short

Eastern was the 1-0 winner over Everett when they last played one another back in May of 2025, but their luck changed this time around. The Quakers fell 2-0 to the Vikings on Thursday. Eastern have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Eastern's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9-1. As for Everett, their victory bumped their record up to 3-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Eastern will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Perry at 5:30 p.m. on the 18th. As for Everett, they will take on Charlotte at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Everett will be up against Charlotte's rather soft defense (which has allowed 4.31 goals per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
