Alamosa got themselves on the board against Banning Lewis Academy on Friday, but Banning Lewis Academy never followed suit. They blew past the Banning Lewis Academy Stallions 51-0 at home. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Mean Moose.
Alamosa had a senior duo take command as Dyson Woodward rushed for 92 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries and Zane Zook rushed for 120 yards and a touchdown on only 12 carries. The dominant performance gave him a new career- in rushing yards. Alamosa also got help from Kevin Gonzales Jr., who showed off his sure hands for 80 receiving yards.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Alamosa was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 280 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Banning Lewis Academy only rushed for 38.
