Kirtland Central came out on top against Miyamura on Thursday thanks in part to the team's impressive five-run sixth inning. The Broncos took their match against the Patriots 6-3. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 10-5 last Tuesday.

The team relied heavily on Tamirra Chee, who went 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI. Tanisha Thomas was another key player, going 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

The win made it two in a row for Kirtland Central and bumps their season record up to 11-12. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.0 runs over those games. As for Miyamura, they dropped their record down to 9-9 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Kirtland Central is set to take on their familiar foe Shiprock at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Miyamura will square off against rival Gallup at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
