Football Recap: Niceville Eagles vs. South Sumter Raiders
Niceville took care of business in their home opener on Friday. They walked away with a 35-28 victory over the South Sumter Raiders.
Niceville wouldn't let South Sumter keep a hold of the ball as they managed to force two fumbles. Niceville can thank Harper Campbell and Brayden Powell for forcing both of them.
Loss or not, South Sumter got some senior leadership from Stanley Young and Ja?Kyrian Turner. Young gained 123 total yards and two touchdowns, while Turner. rushed for 101 yards and a touchdown on only 13 carries.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Niceville will welcome Escambia at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for South Sumter, they will be defending their home-field for the first time for the first time when they go up against Forest at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
