Basketball Game Preview: St. Louis Sharks vs. Pinconning Spartans

The St. Louis Sharks will square off against the Pinconning Spartans at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Monday, St. Louis ended up a good deal behind Meridian and lost 58-42. While losing is never fun, the Sharks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 326th, while the Mustangs are ranked 111th).

Meanwhile, Pinconning was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a blow against Meridian, falling 70-37.

Pinconning's loss dropped their record down to 3-13. As for St. Louis, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-6.

St. Louis took their victory against Pinconning when the teams last played back in January by a conclusive 52-31. Will St. Louis repeat their success, or does Pinconning have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
