Volleyball Recap: Brookhaven Comes Up Short

Brookhaven was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Franklin County Bulldogs. The Panthers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bulldogs apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

Brookhaven's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Franklin County, their win was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-0.

While Brookhaven had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
