On Friday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, the Fort Frye Cadets beat the Tyler Knights 48-44. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Cadets.

Despite the loss, Tyler still got an impressive performance from Brady Strode, who went 9 for 14 on his way to 21 points and six rebounds. The contest was Strode's third in a row with at least ten points.

Fort Frye's victory bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Tyler, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Fort Frye will be playing in front of their home fans against Caldwell at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Tyler, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 62-38 defeat against Liberty Union on the 28th.
