Baseball Recap: Parsons Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Parsons Christian Academy lost against Eagle's View back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Parsons Christian Academy Lions lost 19-3 to the Eagle's View Warriors.

Brayden Comer and Matthew Winans did some serious damage despite the final result: Comer got on base in all three of his plate appearances with two RBI and one double, while Winans scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in both of his plate appearances. Winans is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games he's played. Jake Parenteau also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Parsons Christian Academy now has a losing record of 2-3-1. As for Eagle's View, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-6 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Parsons Christian Academy will host Harvest Community at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Parsons Christian Academy has given up an average of 12.8 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week. As for Eagle's View, they will welcome Covenant School of Jacksonville at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Eagle's View will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last.
