Softball Recap: North Florida Christian Takes a Loss

North Florida Christian suffered their biggest defeat since April 22, 2024 on Monday. They lost 9-1 to the Chiles Timberwolves. The Eagles were not able to make up for their loss to the Timberwolves from their previous meeting back in April of 2018.

North Florida Christian saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Reese Sparkman, who went 1-for-2 with one run.

North Florida Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 11-7. As for Chiles, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 17-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North Florida Christian will host Lincoln at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Chiles, they will be playing at home against Leon at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Lions have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 6.68 runs per game on average), something the Timberwolves will no doubt try to take advantage of.
