Fans were treated to a Battle of the Wildcats on Tuesday. The Sweetwater Wildcats walked away with a 45-36 victory over the Polk County Wildcats. This was a revenge game for Sweetwater: when they faced off against Polk County two weeks ago, they had to take a 41-37 loss.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Sweetwater to victory, but perhaps none more so than Lilly Woodruff, who posted ten points and seven rebounds. Maddy Sewell was another key player, putting up eight points.

Sweetwater's record now sits at 9-15. As for Polk County, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven matchups, which has put a noticeable dent in their 8-14 record this season.

Coincidentally, Sweetwater and Polk County will both be playing Copper Basin the next time they take the court. Polk County will host Copper Basin at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while Sweetwater will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
