Sterling and Phillips are both heading into their Saturday matchup this week after winning their previous games. Phillips came out on top against Lemont last week with a 15 - 3 win. Meanwhile, Sterling finished its game with a 22 - 10 win.
In its game, Phillips got an early lead and never looked back, outscoring Lemont in every quarter en route to its victory. The win bumped Phillips's record up to 12-0.
As for Sterling, after a slow start in its last game, it made a splash in the second half by scoring 19 to clinch the victory. The win got it up to 12-0.
