Soccer Recap: Larkin Takes a Loss

Larkin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the West Chicago Wildcats. While losing is never fun, Larkin can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois soccer rankings (they are ranked 345th, while West Chicago are ranked 161st).

Larkin's defeat dropped their record down to 0-14. As for West Chicago, their win bumped their record up to 2-3-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Larkin will take on Hampshire at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for West Chicago, they will square off against Batavia at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
