Lawrence has been away from home for two games now, but on Friday they'll finally make their return. They will host the Pemberton Hornets at 6:00 p.m. Lawrence's defense has only allowed 12.8 points per game this season, so Pemberton's offense will have their work cut out for them.

Lawrence is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Bordentown just ended the team's four-game winning streak dating back to last season on Friday. They fell just short of the Scotties by a score of 10-7. The loss was the Cardinals' first of the season.

Meanwhile, Pemberton got the win against Maple Shade on Saturday by a conclusive 41-21. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Hornets.

Shaun Lake had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 188 yards while picking up 7.5 yards per carry. He also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, picking up a sack and making a tackle. Andrew Anderson did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 83 receiving yards.

On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Pemberton's defense and their four sacks. Maple Shade's QB won't forget Thaisaan Alexander anytime soon given he sacked him twice.

Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Pemberton was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 247 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted was before the start of last season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Lawrence fell to 3-1. As for Pemberton, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
