Volleyball Recap: Bert Corona Charter Wins Going Away Against Triumph Charter

Bert Corona Charter made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Triumph Charter, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Knights were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Jaguars on Wednesday. The Knights were shut out 3-0 the last time they took on the Jaguars, so the Knights were just returning the favor.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-23, 25-22.

Bert Corona Charter is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season. As for Triumph Charter, their defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 4-4.

Coincidentally, Bert Corona Charter and Triumph Charter will both be playing Valley Oaks CES the next time they take the court. The Jaguars will host the Vanguards at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Knights will head out to face them at 3:00 p.m. on Monday.
