Baseball Game Preview: Miller Grove Hornets vs. Campbell Indians

The Miller Grove Hornets will start their season against the Campbell Indians. First pitch is scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.

Campbell is headed into their home opener looking to turn things around after starting their season on the road. They took an 11-8 hit to the loss column at the hands of Fruitvale on Monday. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it 17 in a row.

Campbell's loss dropped their record down to 0-1.

As for Miller Grove, they've got a clean slate this season. Last year, they finished 2-19.

Everything went Miller Grove's way against Campbell when the teams last played back in April of 2023, as Miller Grove made off with a 10-3 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Miller Grove since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
