Baseball Recap: Lunenburg Falls Short of St. John Paul II in the Playoffs

Lunenburg and St. John Paul II squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Lunenburg had to settle for second. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 34-0 to the Lions, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 34-0 on Sunday.

This is the second loss in a row for Lunenburg and nudges their season record down to 12-11. As for St. John Paul II, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 23-2.

Lunenburg does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for St. John Paul II, they will square off against Salem on Wednesday.
