Milpitas won the last time they faced MacDonald and things went their way on Friday too. The Trojans won by a set and slipped past the Condor 3-2.

Milpitas had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 25-27, 22-25, 25-21, 25-14, 15-10.

Milpitas has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season. As for MacDonald, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-11 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Milpitas will square off against Gunn at 6:45 p.m. on Monday. As for MacDonald, they will welcome Palo Alto at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The last three games the Vikings have played have been within one set, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
