Their defense stepped up to hand the Northeast Hurricanes an 8-0 shutout on Wednesday. The Golden Tornadoes might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matches by three goals or more this season.

Their offense was hitting Northeast from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. Chloe Measel led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for three goals all by herself.

Pompano Beach has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4-1 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 20 goals over those five games. As for Northeast, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-7-1.
