Basketball Recap: Parkview Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Parkview Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 40-38 heartbreaker at the hands of the Earlville Red Raiders. If the Falcons were looking for revenge after losing 58-52 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Earlville's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Adam Waite, who posted 13 points and eight rebounds. Waite is on a roll when it comes to boards, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last nine games he's played. Easton Fruit was another key player, putting up 12 points along with six rebounds and three steals.

Parkview Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 7-13. As for Earlville, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-14.

Parkview Christian Academy has already played their next matchup (against Mooseheart), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Earlville has also has no score uploaded for their next game, this one against Somonauk.
