Softball Game Preview: Ridgewood Maroons vs. Passaic County Tech Bulldogs

The Ridgewood Maroons will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against the Passaic County Tech Bulldogs at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday.

Ridgewood is headed into their home opener looking to turn things around after starting their season on the road. They lost 10-0 to Pascack Valley on Monday.

Meanwhile, Passaic County Tech was not the first on the board on Tuesday, but they got there more often. They walked away with a 13-10 win over Wayne Hills. The victory continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their matchups with the Patriots: they've now won five in a row.

Ridgewood beat Passaic County Tech 8-5 in their previous meeting back in May of 2023. Will the Maroons repeat their success, or do the Bulldogs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
