Volleyball Game Preview: Hart Hawks vs. Saugus Centurions

Hart is on a 13-game streak of home losses dating back to last season, and Saugus a three-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Thursday. The Hart Hawks will be playing at home against the Saugus Centurions at 5:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Tuesday, Hart came up short against Golden Valley and fell 3-1.

Saugus had taken West Ranch down for two straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Tuesday. Saugus came up short against West Ranch, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Centurions have suffered against the Wildcats since April 14, 2021.

While Saugus was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-17, 25-15.

Hart's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Saugus, their loss dropped their record down to 4-6.

Hart might still be hurting after the 3-0 defeat they got from Saugus in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. Can Hart avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
