Volleyball Recap: ACE Charter Takes a Loss

ACE Charter was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Basis Independent Silicon Valley Bobcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bobcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in April.

While ACE Charter was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Basis Independent Silicon Valley's winning margin in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-11, 25-13.

ACE Charter's defeat dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Basis Independent Silicon Valley, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-4.

ACE Charter wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Cristo Rey San Jose Jesuit on the 5th. As for Basis Independent Silicon Valley, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against KIPP San Jose Collegiate on the 6th.
