After flying high against St. George's on Thursday, LaGrange Academy came back down to earth. LaGrange Academy fell just short of the Rock Springs Christian Academy Eagles by a score of 3-2 on Monday. LaGrange Academy's defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

LaGrange Academy took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 19-25, 25-21, 23-25, 25-18, 15-8.

Rock Springs Christian Academy found their leader in sophomore Olivia Toney, who had 15 kills and two blocks. Toney has been hot for a while, having posted five or more kills the last ten times she's played. Another player making a difference was Lauren Harrell, who had 27 assists.

LaGrange Academy's loss dropped their record down to 12-7. As for Rock Springs Christian Academy, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-5.

LaGrange Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Covenant Academy on the 23rd. As for Rock Springs Christian Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 defeat against Pike County on the 23rd.
