South Central put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Bucklin Red Aces 72-42. Given the Timberwolves' advantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 43rd, while the Red Aces are ranked 259th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

South Central's victory was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 13-0. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.5 points per game. As for Bucklin, their loss dropped their record down to 3-8-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. South Central will head out to square off against Kiowa County at 7:00 p.m. on February 4th. South Central's defense has only allowed 29.1 points per game this season, so Kiowa County's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Bucklin, they will head out on the road to take on Pawnee Heights at 8:00 p.m. on February 4th.
