Corner Canyon has no trouble against Lone Peak

Recap: Corner Canyon Chargers vs. Lone Peak Knights

The Corner Canyon Chargers entered their tilt with the Lone Peak Knights with nine consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with ten. Corner Canyon took down Lone Peak 35-21 on Friday. The score was all tied up 14-14 at the break, but Corner Canyon was the (much) better team in the second half.

Isaac Wilson was his usual excellent self, rushing for 204 yards and a touchdown while picking up 9.7 yards per carry, and also throwing for 202 yards and two touchdowns. Another player making a difference was Bryton Brady, who gained 89 total yards and two touchdowns.

Corner Canyon's victory was their sixth straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 11-1. As for Lone Peak, their loss dropped their record down to 5-7.

Corner Canyon will square off against Lehi at 2:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Lehi's favor is that they have now posted big point totals in their last four matchups. Lone Peak does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
