Soccer Recap: Franklin Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Franklin's offense. They lost 5-0 to the Belleville Tigers on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, Franklin can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan soccer rankings (they are ranked 309th, while Belleville are ranked 94th).

Franklin has also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-7 record this season. As for Belleville, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-1-3.

Franklin wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 7-2 win against Churchill on the 30th. As for Belleville, they will be playing at home against Dearborn at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
