Basketball Game Preview: Times Squared Academy Eagles vs. Central Knights

Having just played yesterday, the Times Squared Academy Eagles will head out on the road to face off against the Central Knights at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Times Squared Academy is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.

Times Squared Academy is headed into the game out to prove that what happened against Exeter-West Greenwich on Thursday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Times Squared Academy was dealt a 69-23 loss at the hands of Exeter-West Greenwich. The Eagles were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 41-12.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Central, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They pulled ahead with a 34-33 photo finish over Hope on Thursday.

Central's win bumped their record up to 9-12. As for Times Squared Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-14.

Times Squared Academy came up short against Central in their previous meeting back in January, falling 57-51. Can Times Squared Academy avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
