Basketball Recap: River Valley Comes Up Short

If River Valley was feeling good fresh off their 55-32 takedown of Ar-We-Va last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The River Valley Wolverines were just a bucket shy of victory on Friday and fell 47-46 to the Kingsley-Pierson Panthers. The Wolverines' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

River Valley's loss ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-9. As for Kingsley-Pierson, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-8.

River Valley wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 45-41 defeat against Lawton-Bronson on the 4th. As for Kingsley-Pierson, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 75-54 loss against Maple Valley-Anthon-Oto/Charter Oak-Ute on the 4th.
