Mancelona proved they can win big last Friday (they won by 39) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. In a tight matchup that could have gone either way, they made off with a 40-39 victory over the Bellaire Eagles. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 38-30 back in January.

Mancelona is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-14 record this season. Bellaire is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-14.

Mancelona does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Bellaire, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 49-28 defeat against Boyne City on the 27th.
