Braden Atkinson's Big Game Leads Rolesville over Millbrook

Starting off the list is Rolesville's Braden Atkinson, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Atkinson threw for 325 yards and four touchdowns while completing 80% of his passes.

Millbrook's probably not too fond of Atkinson given he always seems to get the better of them. When Atkinson last faced the Wildcats back in October of 2023, he threw for 418 yards and four touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes.

Ladainian Person Turns in Season-Best Effort

LaDainian Person produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Heritage to the win on Friday. Person rushed for 149 yards and two touchdowns.

Person and Heritage will take on Wake Forest at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The contest will pit Person up against the Cougars' star running back Micah Olu. Will the game be decided in the trenches? We'll have our answer very soon.

Another Game with at Least Eight Total Tackles from Quinton Cypher

Quinton Cypher continued his hot streak on Friday by dropping his 19th-straight game (dating back to last season) with at least eight total tackles. He made 18 total tackles (2.0 for loss) and snagged an interception.

If history really does repeat itself, Cypher might just drop another big game when he faces off against Wakefield on Friday. Cypher picked up a sack and made 16 total tackles (2.0 for loss) the last time he and the Wolverines duked it out back in October of 2023.

Congleton Posts Huge Game in 31-28 Defeat

Rounding off our Top Five is Austin Congleton of Wakefield. Congleton threw for 277 yards and four touchdowns.

Wakefield is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6. Congleton and Wakefield will challenge Millbrook at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
