Baseball Recap: Granada Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Granada had to endure a five-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They walked away with a 7-2 victory over the Stratton Eagles on Tuesday. This was a revenge game for the Bobcats: when they faced off against the Eagles on Tuesday, they had to take a 6-5 loss.

Maddox Coleman was incredible, going 1-for-2 with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Those three runs gave him a new career-high. Adam Hainer was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI and one stolen base.

The win was their first at home , bumping their record up to 2-13. As for Stratton, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season.

Granada will face off against Non Varsity Opponent at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Stratton, they will take on Burlington at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
