Softball Recap: Pine Forest Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Pine Forest's offense. They came up short against Harnett Central on Tuesday, falling 16-0. The loss continues a trend for Pine Forest in their meetings with Harnett Central: they've now lost eight in a row.

Pine Forest saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gracie Miller, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

Pine Forest now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Harnett Central, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-3.

While Pine Forest had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
