Seton Catholic came tearing into Monday's game with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.6 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They never let the Seaside Seagulls get on the board and left with a 15-0 win. While the Sentinels didn't have the best season last year (they finished 4-22), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Seton Catholic's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-1-2. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Seaside, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-4 record this season.
