Volleyball Game Preview: Cheshire Rams vs. Masuk Panthers

The Cheshire Rams will head out on the road to challenge the Masuk Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Cheshire is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.

On Wednesday, Cheshire came up short against Conard and fell 3-1. The contest marked the Rams' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Cheshire started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 12-25, 25-20, 27-25, 25-23.

Cheshire's defeat came about despite a quality game from Jacob Tierney, who had 11 digs.

Meanwhile, Masuk faced Joel Barlow in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Panthers fell 3-1 to the Falcons. The loss was the Panthers' first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Masuk fell to 7-1. As for Cheshire, their loss dropped their record down to 5-3.
