Softball Recap: Ord Chanticleers vs. Twin River Titans
Ord was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They came up short against the Twin River Titans, falling 18-10. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Chanticleers of the 11-2 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2023.
Ord's loss dropped their record down to 5-19. As for Twin River, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which somehow still isn't as good as their 23-6 record this season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ord will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against O'Neill. Ord will be hoping to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each match than the last. As for Twin River, they will square off against Malcolm on Saturday. Twin River is facing Malcolm at the right time seeing as Malcolm is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
