It was a good run, but Eldorado unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They fell just short of Sterling City by a score of 38-36. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss Eldorado has suffered since November 20, 2025.

Eldorado's defeat dropped their record down to 13-13. As for Sterling City, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-9 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Eldorado will square off against rival Reagan County at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Sterling City is set to challenge their familiar foe Forsan at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
