Baseball Game Preview: Mulhall-Orlando Panthers vs. Carney Bulldogs

Mulhall-Orlando is 9-1 against Carney since February of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. Mulhall-Orlando will head out on the road to square off against Carney at 5:30 p.m. Mulhall-Orlando will be strutting in after a win while Carney will be coming in after a defeat.

Having struggled with four losses in a row, Mulhall-Orlando turned things around against Coyle on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Bluejackets with a sharp 10-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won four matches by ten runs or more so far this season.

The team relied heavily on Denver McKay, who scored three runs while going 2-for-2. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April of 2024. Lathan Davis also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

Meanwhile, Carney was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 6-3 to Paden.

The win got Mulhall-Orlando back to even at 4-4. As for Carney, their loss dropped their record down to 3-6.

Mulhall-Orlando took their victory against Carney when the teams last played back in March of 2024 by a conclusive 16-5. Will Mulhall-Orlando repeat their success, or does Carney has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
