Volleyball Game Preview: East Valley Falcons vs. Fulton Jaguars

The East Valley Falcons will venture away from home to challenge the Fulton Jaguars at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. East Valley will be strutting in after a win while Fulton will be coming in after a defeat.

Last Monday, East Valley got the win against Northridge Academy by a conclusive 3-0. The Falcons haven't had any issues with the Pumas recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

East Valley walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-20, 25-16.

Meanwhile, Fulton came up short against Valley Academy of Arts & Sciences on Monday, falling 3-0. The loss continues a trend for the Jaguars in their meetings with the Vipers: they've now lost eight in a row.

The final score came out to 25-11, 25-11, 25-12.

East Valley's victory was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-8. As for Fulton, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-6.

East Valley took their win against Fulton in their previous matchup on March 10th by a conclusive 3-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for East Valley since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
