Holy Spirit Prep posted their closest win since August 16th on Thursday. They skirted past the Heritage Preparatory Rams 3-2. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in August.

Holy Spirit Prep was actually outscored in aggregate across those five sets (97-95), but they still managed to win. The final score came out to 18-25, 25-18, 12-25, 25-20, 15-9.

Modupe Browne paced Holy Spirit Prep's offense, picking up 25 kills. Browne got some help from Ariana Lajara and her 28 assists.

Holy Spirit Prep has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-8 record this season. As for Heritage Preparatory, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-6.

Coincidentally, Holy Spirit Prep and Heritage Preparatory will both be playing St. Mary's Academy the next time they take the court. The Rams will head out to face the Bobcats at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, while the Cougars will host them at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
