Jack McGuire posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Wednesday. As a matter of fact, he produced his best game of the campaign: he struck out seven batters over five innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one hit in three consecutive appearances.
