Volleyball Recap: Highland Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Highland Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They came up short against the Byne Christian Saints, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Saints this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-2 back in August.

While Highland Christian Academy was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-22, 25-13.

Highland Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Byne Christian, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-2.

After both having extra time off, Highland Christian Academy and Community Christian Academy will shake off the rust and duke it out at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Byne Christian, they will square off against CHESS Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
