Football Recap: Mountain House Starts Season with Defeat at Home + How To Watch

Mountain House unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They were beaten by the Lathrop Spartans 43-16 on Friday. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it 11 in a row.

Mountain House's loss came despite strong showings from Erin Foster and Jacoby Johnson. Foster rushed for 69 yards and one touchdown, while Johnson rushed for 94 yards and one TD.

Treydon Santos went supernova For Lathrop., rushing for 87 yards and one score on only seven carries, while also catching one TD. Those 87 rushing yards gave Santos a new career-high.

Looking ahead, Mountain House will face off against West at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Lathrop, they will take on Sierra at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
