Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Owings Mills). They blew past the Milford Mill Academy Millers 21-4 on Wednesday. The win was some much needed relief for the Golden Eagles as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Owings Mills' victory bumped their record up to 2-6. As for Milford Mill Academy, they dropped their record down to 1-7 with the loss, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Owings Mills will head out on the road to challenge Woodlawn at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Milford Mill Academy, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Overlea at 4:00 p.m.
