Basketball Recap: Coram Deo Academy Takes a Loss

Coram Deo Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Grace Prep Lions, falling 66-41. Coram Deo Academy was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 40-13.

Grace Prep's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Amari Coleman, who went 5 for 6 on his way to 12 points in addition to eight rebounds and five assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Jesiah Williams, who went 5 for 8 on his way to 11 points in addition to five assists and five boards.

Coram Deo Academy's loss dropped their record down to 9-11. As for Grace Prep, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-4.

Coram Deo Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 74-44 defeat against Midland Christian on the 9th. As for Grace Prep, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 64-47 win against Southwest Christian School on the 10th.
