Volleyball Recap: Arrowhead Takes Loss Despite Strong Performances from Nicholas Roussel and Dylan Bonne

Arrowhead was the 2-1 winner over Neenah when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Warhawks fell just short of the Rockets by a score of 2-1 on Saturday. The Warhawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Arrowhead actually scored more points across those three sets (58-51), but sadly they still had to settle for second. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 11-25, 25-23, 15-10.

Dylan Bonne and Nicholas Roussel certainly did their best on Saturday to avoid the loss. Bonne had 12 assists and three aces, while Roussel had ten digs. Steven Procto also deserves some recognition as he served his first ace of the season.

Neenah found their leader in sophomore Levi Steckling, who had eight digs and four assists.

Arrowhead's defeat dropped their record down to 21-14. As for Neenah, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-13 record this season.

Arrowhead does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Neenah, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Cedarburg on the 18th.
