Basketball Recap: Bluffton Takes a Loss

After flying high against Carey last Saturday, Bluffton came back down to earth. The Bluffton Pirates fell just short of the Lima Central Catholic Thunderbirds by a score of 56-53 on Friday. The Pirates were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Thunderbirds apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2023.

Bluffton's loss dropped their record down to 9-3. As for Lima Central Catholic, they now have a winning record of 7-6.

Bluffton wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 65-60 defeat against Liberty-Benton on the 18th. Lima Central Catholic has also already played their next game, a 48-45 victory against Elida on the 18th.
